Roseberry Topping

Rosberry Topping is a limited edition print hand signed by Mackenzie Thorpe. The piece pays tribute to one of Yorkshire’s most iconic landmarks, Roseberry Topping, the half-cone shaped hill in North Yorkshire which stands at 1049 feet tall. The image not only appeals to Mackenzie art lovers but also to lovers of the Yorkshire countryside as it features gentle sweeping landscapes which immerse you in the natural beauty of the countryside. Roseberry topping was one of the 17 pieces that Mackenzie created for Middlesborough Council to display at Middlesborough Railway Station. As a fan of railway posters Mackenzie jumped at the opportunity to be involved. The pieces all reflected the town’s history and heritage with nods to football, industry, coast and country. Other pieces included ‘Up The Boro’, ‘Gateway to The Moors’ and ‘Heart of the North’
