Queen Of Rock

Traditionally immortalised on stamps (the sort which are typically licked and stuck on the front of envelopes), HRH The Queen’s head is an instantly familiar sight across the globe. Yet now her right royal profile has received the Paul Oz treatment and can in future be staring right back atcha from the walls of your edgy urban living space (waterfront/loft-living residence, optional). It all started with a flippant remark along the lines of, “I could do that”, which ultimately paved the path for the now acclaimed contemporary figurative abstract art practitioner to follow his illustrative calling. Experimenting with some acrylics in the direct aftermath of being unimpressed by the offerings in his local gallery (browsed at while contemplating how he was going to adorn the walls of his own pad at the time), it turned out that the (now) best-selling Oz was pretty adept at the painting lark; and the rest as they say is his story. And here we are today (Spring 2017 as it happens) and the release of his very latest hand-embellished and signed canvas limited edition entitled, ‘Queen of Rock’.
