Space Hopping

For any kids of the 80s out there, then you’ll be immediately drawn to the menacing grins adorning the graphically inflated ‘Space Hopping’ element discovered in Kerry Darlington’s most recent illustrative release witnessed here. The aptly named, ‘Space Hopping’ is a highly visual ode to a firm children’s favourite from yesteryear, pictured by the hugely talented contemporary fine artist in an altogether alien contextual surround. The brand new limited edition, artist-signed piece projects a luminosity familiar to any Darlington composition; only set on a different planet for what might well be the first time. Gone are the cute little keepsakes, charms and folkloric gems that typical populate a more earthly Darlington study, in their place we welcome (admittedly equally) cute spaceships, distant moons, space-dwelling pods and underwater crafts.
