Hue Folk

Contrary to ones first thoughts Hue Folk, is not the name of an individual artist, but in fact a group of individuals, who have come together to form an art collective. Each young artist brings their own specialist talent and they all work together on their dramatic compositions, often using bright topical well known images, graphic design, illustration, digital art, and typography, skilfully combined to create the most awesome individual works of art, which can flow right over on to the carefully chosen frames in the most contemporary fashion.

With a love of vivid colour, folk and urban art, the collective create the most extraordinary paintings, known as ‘mash-up’s’ in street art terms. Each artist brings their own style of printmaking, laser cutting and stencilling amongst many more techniques right up to date, with occasionally adding little extra’s including spray paint, ink and even gold leaf.
