Allan Morgan

Allan was born in 1952, he attended Swansea Art College and graduated from Coventry College of Art with a BA in Fine Art Painting after a combined 5yrs study.

Originally his career path took him into illustration within the publishing sector.

Today a highly collected, much sort after professional artist, his painting style is very much realist, with a more recently taken colourist route. His use of palette being, vivid, striking and uplifting, with inspiration for his work flowing from the atmospheric light and colourings of the natural world and landscapes he is surrounded by, at home in the stunning border country of Herefordshire and Powys.

Having also lived for many years near the coast Allan is also well known for his stunning coastal seascape paintings, featuring boats and his famous moody blue-grey and pink skies.
